Hijacker Detection
How Revnoxa detects unauthorized sellers on your listings, what the Hijacker dashboard shows, and how to take action.
Revnoxa's Hijacker Detection module monitors the Buy Box and listing offers for your connected Amazon accounts, identifying unauthorized third-party sellers who list against your branded ASINs and capturing the Buy Box from you.
What gets detected
Revnoxa continuously monitors active offers on your ASINs. When a new seller appears on a listing who is not on your authorized seller list, or when a seller wins the Buy Box at a price lower than your floor price, a Hijacker threat is created. Each threat includes the ASIN affected, the unauthorized seller's name and price, how long they've been winning the Buy Box, and the estimated daily revenue impact.
The Hijacker dashboard
Go to Hijacker in the sidebar to see all active threats. Threats are listed by severity - calculated based on how long the unauthorized seller has been active and the revenue impact of losing the Buy Box. Each threat card shows: the ASIN, the competing seller's name and price, your price, Buy Box status, and time detected.
Click any threat to open the detail view. You'll see the full offer breakdown, the competing seller's store profile, a timeline of when they appeared, and available actions.
Threat statuses
Active - the unauthorized seller is currently on your listing and may be winning the Buy Box. Monitoring - the threat has been acknowledged and your team is tracking it. Suppressed - you've manually dismissed this threat (for example, if you determine the seller is authorized). Cleared - the unauthorized seller is no longer active on the listing.
Taking action
From the threat detail view you can: escalate the threat to an incident (which adds it to your incident queue with full SLA tracking), suppress the threat (if you determine the seller is authorized or the threat is a false positive), or initiate a cease-and-desist workflow (Scale plan) which uses the Amazon Brand Registry tools to file an infringement report.
Scheduled scanning
Revnoxa scans your listings for new offers on a scheduled basis. The scan frequency depends on your plan. You can also trigger a manual scan at any time by clicking "Scan Now" on the Hijacker page.
