Approvals
How the approval workflow works for price changes, listing edits, and other sensitive remediation actions.
The Approvals workflow ensures that sensitive remediation actions - price changes, listing edits, inventory adjustments - are reviewed and authorized by the right person before Revnoxa executes them on Amazon.
Why approvals exist
Some actions are low-risk and reversible. Others - like changing a price - have immediate financial consequences and should require a second set of eyes before going live. The approval workflow creates that checkpoint without slowing down your team's response time.
How it works
When an Operator proposes an action that requires approval - for example, changing a price to resolve a Price Mismatch incident - Revnoxa creates a pending approval request. The request includes the incident details, the proposed action, the expected outcome, and the potential revenue impact. The request is routed to users with Admin role.
The approver sees the request in the Approvals section, reviews the details, and either approves or rejects it with an optional reason. If approved, Revnoxa executes the action automatically via the Amazon API - no manual steps required. If rejected, the Operator receives a notification and can propose a different approach.
Approval statuses
Pending - waiting for review. Approved - authorized, execution is queued. Rejected - declined, no action is taken. Executed - the action has been sent to Amazon. Verified - Revnoxa has confirmed the action took effect on Amazon.
Viewing approvals
Go to Approvals in the sidebar. The Pending tab shows requests waiting for your review. The All tab shows the complete history - approved, rejected, and executed. Each card shows the incident, the proposed action, who submitted it, and when.
Approval chains (Scale plan)
On the Scale plan, you can configure multi-step approval chains - for example, requiring both a team lead and a finance reviewer to approve high-value price changes above a certain threshold. Chain approvals are configured in Settings > Approval Workflows.
